Guardian Fundraising Rewards Program

Official Terms

Effective Date: August 18, 2026

These Official Terms govern the Guardian Fundraising Rewards Program (“Program”) administered by Guardian Training, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN 47-1846753 (“Guardian”).

By creating, managing, operating, or serving as the designated organizer or academy representative of an approved Program fundraising campaign, and by affirmatively accepting these Official Terms when requested by Guardian or its fundraising platform, the participant agrees to be legally bound by them.

1. Purpose and Structure of the Program

The Program encourages independent supporters and jiu-jitsu academies to raise charitable contributions for Guardian and the charitable programs Guardian supports.

Guardian provides promotional milestone rewards to eligible fundraiser organizers and participating academies that reach specified fundraising levels and satisfy the requirements of these Official Terms.

Program rewards are provided to eligible fundraiser organizers or participating academies. They are not provided to individual donors in exchange for making donations.

A person does not become entitled to merchandise, tournament reimbursement, gift cards, lodging, plaques, videos, event recognition, or other Program rewards merely because that person makes a donation.

The costs of Program rewards are paid from funding separate from the qualifying donations raised through participating campaigns. Reward expenses are not deducted from the fundraising amount credited to a participant for purposes of determining Program milestones.

The Program is not a raffle, lottery, sweepstakes, contest of chance, or gambling activity. No winner is randomly selected.

Subject to verification and these Official Terms, an eligible participant who reaches a published milestone may earn the corresponding reward.

Program rewards are fixed promotional incentives associated with published milestones and are not calculated as a percentage or commission based on donations raised.

Nothing in these Official Terms overrides any legal registration, disclosure, tax, fundraising, licensing, reporting, or other requirement imposed by applicable law.

Guardian may suspend participation or reward fulfillment if Guardian reasonably determines that continuing the participant's involvement could create a legal or regulatory requirement that has not been satisfied.

2. Definitions

For purposes of these Official Terms:

“Campaign” means a fundraising page, team page, subpage, or other fundraising account approved by Guardian for participation in the Program.

“Individual Campaign” means an approved Campaign associated with one individual fundraiser organizer.

“Team Campaign” means an approved Campaign associated with a jiu-jitsu academy or other team expressly approved by Guardian.

“Participant” means an Individual Campaign organizer or the authorized representative of a Team Campaign, as applicable.

“Qualifying Donation” means a verified charitable donation Guardian recognizes as eligible toward a Program milestone under these Official Terms.

“Program Period” means the period beginning August 18, 2026 and continuing until Guardian formally ends, replaces, or resets the applicable reward program.

“Reward” means a promotional benefit associated with a published Program milestone.

“U.S. Resident” means a legal resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.

3. Campaign Types

Individual Campaigns

An Individual Campaign is associated with one approved fundraiser organizer.

Individual rewards belong solely to the eligible organizer whose Campaign generated the applicable qualifying total.

Team Campaigns

A Team Campaign is associated with an approved academy.

Team rewards are earned by and provided for the benefit of the participating academy and are administered through the academy's authorized owner or representative.

Guardian may determine whether a Campaign qualifies as an Individual Campaign, Team Campaign, or approved subcampaign.

A participant may not change a Campaign's classification for reward purposes without Guardian's approval.

4. General Eligibility

Subject to applicable law and the fundraising platform's rules, individuals and academies may participate in Guardian fundraising campaigns regardless of country of residence.

To receive a Program reward, the applicable recipient must:

Be at least 18 years old, except as expressly provided for supervised minor participation;
Be the approved organizer of an Individual Campaign or authorized representative of an approved Team Campaign;
Comply with these Official Terms;
Comply with the fundraising platform's terms and policies;
Comply with applicable law;
Provide truthful and accurate information;
Complete Guardian's reasonable identity and eligibility verification requirements;
Provide requested tax, payment, shipping, sizing, academy, tournament, or travel information when applicable; and
Remain in good standing with Guardian throughout verification and fulfillment.

The Program is void where prohibited or restricted.

Guardian may deny participation or fulfillment where Guardian reasonably determines that providing a reward would violate law, platform rules, sanctions restrictions, tax requirements, safety requirements, or other applicable legal obligations.

5. Geographic Reward Restrictions

Participation in fundraising itself is not limited to U.S. residents unless otherwise required by applicable law or the fundraising platform.

However:

All physical merchandise and other shipped Program rewards are available only to eligible U.S. Residents; and
The competition registration reimbursement is available only to eligible U.S. Residents.

A participant residing outside the United States may still qualify for Program rewards that do not require U.S. shipping or U.S.-only reimbursement eligibility, including applicable personalized videos, digital recognition, CJI academy recognition, and the Guardian Peru lodging reward.

No cash payment, gift card, credit, substitute merchandise, or alternative reward will be provided solely because a participant is geographically ineligible for a particular reward.

6. Minor Participation

A person under 18 may assist with or promote a Campaign only under the active supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

For an Individual Campaign involving a minor, the parent or legal guardian must serve as the official organizer and reward claimant.

Guardian will not directly provide a tournament reimbursement, gift card, lodging reservation, contractual travel benefit, or similar reward to a minor.

Nothing in the Program authorizes a minor to enter into contracts, travel independently, compete without appropriate authorization, or otherwise act without legally required parental or guardian consent.

7. Guardian Insiders and Conflicts of Interest

Guardian employees, officers, directors, and persons residing in their immediate households are not eligible to receive Program rewards unless:

Their participation is disclosed to Guardian in advance; and
Participation is approved in accordance with Guardian's applicable conflict-of-interest procedures.

Guardian may impose additional restrictions or documentation requirements where participation by an insider could create an actual or perceived conflict of interest.

8. Team Campaign Authority

Team Campaign rewards are earned by the participating academy rather than personally by every coach, student, fundraiser, or team member.

Each Team Campaign must designate an academy owner or other representative authorized by the academy to administer the Campaign and claim rewards.

The representative certifies that they have authority to act for the academy regarding the Program.

If an academy has multiple owners, Guardian may require written confirmation identifying one authorized reward representative.

Guardian may suspend fulfillment if:

Academy ownership is disputed;
Multiple persons claim authority over the same academy;
Guardian receives conflicting instructions;
A representative's authority cannot reasonably be verified; or
A legal dispute concerning the academy could affect reward ownership.

Guardian is not required to resolve private ownership or management disputes between academy owners.

One Team reward is issued for the applicable academy milestone, not one reward for each academy owner, coach, student, fundraiser, or team member.

9. Independent Participant Status

Participants act as independent supporters of Guardian.

Participation in the Program does not itself create an employment, independent-contractor, agency, partnership, joint-venture, franchise, fiduciary, professional-fundraiser, or authorized-representative relationship between Guardian and a participant.

Participants have no authority to:

Bind Guardian;
Enter into agreements on Guardian's behalf;
Make legal or financial commitments for Guardian;
Incur expenses on Guardian's behalf;
Collect donations outside Guardian's approved process while representing those donations as Guardian funds;
Open accounts in Guardian's name;
Contact Guardian sponsors, donors, vendors, partners, or beneficiaries as an official Guardian representative without authorization;
Promise particular tax treatment;
Promise a specific charitable result;
Create unauthorized Guardian merchandise;
License Guardian intellectual property;
Make public commitments on Guardian's behalf; or
Make representations Guardian has not authorized.

Participants may not identify themselves as Guardian employees, agents, professional fundraisers, legal representatives, or authorized spokespeople unless Guardian separately authorizes that designation in writing.

Program rewards are intended as fixed promotional milestone incentives rather than percentage-based fundraising commissions.

This description does not override applicable law.

If applicable law would require a participant to register, disclose information, obtain authorization, execute additional documentation, or satisfy another requirement because of their fundraising activities or receipt of a Program reward, Guardian may suspend participation or fulfillment until that requirement is satisfied.

10. Ownership and Control of Donations

All donations made through an approved Guardian Campaign are charitable contributions to Guardian or are otherwise processed for Guardian in accordance with the applicable fundraising platform arrangement.

A fundraiser organizer does not personally own, withdraw, receive, or control those charitable funds.

Participants may not represent otherwise.

If Guardian permits donors or fundraisers to identify a preferred Guardian program, location, project, or initiative, that designation is subject to Guardian's legal obligations and ultimate control and discretion over charitable assets unless Guardian expressly accepts a legally enforceable restriction.

Guardian may redirect funds when reasonably necessary to carry out Guardian's charitable purposes, comply with law, address changed circumstances, or satisfy applicable nonprofit obligations.

11. Qualifying Donations

Only verified donations properly credited to an approved Campaign during the applicable Program Period count toward reward milestones.

Guardian may use its own records and the fundraising platform's records to determine qualifying totals.

The following do not count toward milestones:

Refunded donations;
Reversed payments;
Chargebacks;
Disputed transactions;
Fraudulent donations;
Unauthorized transactions;
Uncollectible payments;
Duplicate transactions;
Donations Guardian or the platform determines are invalid;
Sham transactions;
Self-donations by an Individual Campaign organizer;
Donations funded from an account, payment method, business, entity, or funding source owned or controlled by an Individual Campaign organizer when used to manufacture reward eligibility;
Donations funded by an academy to its own Team Campaign when Guardian determines the transaction was made primarily to manufacture reward eligibility; or
Any transaction Guardian reasonably determines was structured primarily to circumvent Program rules.

Guardian's good-faith determination of the verified fundraising total will control for Program-administration purposes, subject to applicable law.

12. Related-Party Donations

Guardian recognizes that legitimate charitable donations may come from family members, friends, employers, businesses, academy members, and other persons connected to a Participant.

However, Participants may not use related persons or controlled entities to artificially create reward eligibility.

A Participant may not:

Supply another person with money for the purpose of having that person donate it back to the Participant's Campaign;
Reimburse a donor for making a donation;
Cause a business or entity they control to make a donation primarily for the purpose of obtaining a Program reward;
Arrange reciprocal donations with another fundraiser;
Temporarily transfer money to another person to disguise a self-donation;
Promise to return donated funds;
Use a related person as a nominal donor while remaining the true source of the funds; or
Otherwise structure a transaction primarily to evade the self-donation restriction.

Guardian may request additional information about related-party donations when reasonably necessary to verify that they are bona fide charitable contributions.

Guardian may exclude a transaction from reward calculations if Guardian reasonably determines that the fundraiser or another reward recipient was the true economic source of the donation or that the transaction was primarily designed to obtain a reward.

13. No Participant-Funded Donor Benefits

Participants may not personally offer, promise, or provide a donor with money, refunds, rebates, merchandise, private lessons, services, tickets, prizes, travel, discounts, gift cards, or other material benefits in exchange for making a donation through a Guardian Campaign unless Guardian has expressly approved the arrangement in writing.

Participants may not represent that a Program reward will be transferred or shared with a donor as an inducement to donate.

This does not prohibit ordinary expressions of appreciation or recognition that have no material economic value.

14. Fraud and Manipulation Prohibited

Participants may not:

Make sham donations;
Arrange fake donations;
Reimburse donors;
Misrepresent donation sources;
Misrepresent Campaign totals;
Manipulate payment methods;
Create duplicate identities;
Create duplicate Campaigns to obtain additional rewards;
Split or combine transactions deceptively;
Falsify fundraiser attribution;
Alter screenshots, receipts, registration documents, or other evidence;
Manipulate Team or Individual Campaign association;
Use stolen or unauthorized payment information; or
Engage in conduct intended to evade these Official Terms.

Guardian may investigate suspected manipulation and may require supporting documentation before fulfilling any reward.

15. Individual and Team Campaign Attribution

Guardian's fundraising platform configuration and Guardian's records determine whether donations are credited to an Individual Campaign, Team Campaign, or both.

An approved individual fundraising page may contribute to an associated Team Campaign total where Guardian's fundraising platform is intentionally configured to aggregate those donations.

Where Guardian expressly permits this structure, the same legitimate donation may contribute to:

The approved Individual Campaign's fundraising total; and
The associated Team Campaign's aggregate fundraising total.

In such circumstances, both the Individual and Team reward schedules may apply.

This permitted aggregation does not allow:

Duplicate Individual Campaign rewards for the same person;
Duplicate Team rewards for the same academy;
Manual duplication of donations;
Unauthorized reassignment of donations; or
Combining unrelated Campaigns without Guardian's approval.

Guardian may define or modify Campaign associations prospectively.

16. One-Time Reward Limits

During the Program Period, each eligible individual may earn each Individual milestone reward only once, regardless of:

The number of Campaigns created;
Different email addresses;
Different fundraising accounts;
Different team affiliations;
Different social-media accounts;
Different fundraising platforms; or
Any other attempt to create multiple identities or Campaigns.

Similarly, each participating academy location may earn each Team milestone reward only once during the Program Period unless Guardian expressly approves otherwise in writing.

Guardian may aggregate Campaigns it reasonably determines belong to the same Participant or academy.

Guardian may launch a future reward period allowing participants to earn rewards again, but such a reset must be expressly announced by Guardian.

17. Verification Before Reward Eligibility Becomes Final

Displayed Campaign totals do not by themselves establish final reward eligibility.

Guardian may reasonably delay reward fulfillment to verify:

Donation settlement;
Payment validity;
Refund status;
Chargebacks;
Campaign attribution;
Participant identity;
Academy ownership;
Residency;
Age;
Compliance with Program rules; and
Other information reasonably necessary to administer the Program.

Guardian may impose a reasonable verification period before fulfilling a reward.

Reaching a displayed milestone does not waive Guardian's right to verify the underlying transactions.

18. Refunds, Reversals, and Post-Milestone Adjustments

A reward milestone is based on the participant's verified qualifying fundraising total.

If refunds, reversals, chargebacks, disputes, fraudulent payments, or other adjustments reduce a Campaign below the required milestone before fulfillment, Guardian may suspend or cancel the unfulfilled reward until the Campaign again satisfies the applicable milestone.

If a Participant intentionally causes, arranges, requests, or benefits from a refund, reversal, chargeback, or similar transaction after obtaining a reward in a manner that causes the Campaign to fall below the applicable milestone, Guardian may:

Require repayment of a monetary reward;
Require return of merchandise when reasonably practicable;
Cancel an unused lodging reward;
Cancel future rewards;
Offset amounts against future Program benefits; and
Disqualify the Participant.

Guardian will not ordinarily require the return of already-fulfilled merchandise solely because of an unrelated bona fide donor refund outside the Participant's control, absent fraud, manipulation, material misrepresentation, or abuse.

INDIVIDUAL REWARDS

19. Individual Reward Schedule

Unless Guardian expressly states otherwise, Individual Campaign rewards are cumulative.

The Individual milestones are:

$250 raised: Exclusive Guardian T-shirt;
$500 raised: Reimbursement of one eligible jiu-jitsu or submission-grappling competition registration fee, up to $200;
$750 raised: Personalized Guardian thank-you video;
$1,000 raised: Exclusive Guardian Hero Rashguard;
$1,500 raised: Exclusive Guardian Hero Gi; and
$2,000 raised: Up to five consecutive nights of lodging at Guardian's designated headquarters property in Máncora, Peru.

An eligible Participant who raises at least $2,000 may qualify for all six rewards, subject to separately satisfying the requirements for each reward.

20. $250 Individual Milestone — Guardian T-Shirt

An eligible U.S. Resident who raises at least $250 in Qualifying Donations may receive one Guardian T-shirt.

The Participant must provide complete and accurate U.S. shipping and sizing information.

Sizes, materials, styles, designs, colors, and inventory may vary.

Guardian does not guarantee a particular size, design, color, production run, or style until fulfillment is confirmed.

If the advertised item becomes unavailable, Guardian may substitute a Guardian item of reasonably comparable or greater retail value.

The reward:

May not be redeemed for cash;
May not be sold as a right to claim a Program reward;
May not be exchanged for another Program reward; and
Is not guaranteed to be returnable or exchangeable except where Guardian determines an item was defective or incorrectly fulfilled.

Guardian is not responsible for loss, delay, or additional shipping expense resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the recipient.

21. $500 Individual Milestone — Competition Registration Reimbursement

An eligible U.S. Resident who raises at least $500 in Qualifying Donations may receive reimbursement for the recipient's actual registration fee for one eligible jiu-jitsu or submission-grappling competition.

The maximum reimbursement is $200.

This reward is reimbursement of an actual verified expense.

It is not an automatic $200 cash payment.

The reimbursement equals the lesser of:

The actual verified eligible registration fee paid by the recipient; or
$200.

Examples:

$95 registration fee → maximum reimbursement of $95;
$150 registration fee → maximum reimbursement of $150;
$200 registration fee → maximum reimbursement of $200;
$275 registration fee → maximum reimbursement of $200.

Eligible Competition

The event must be a bona fide jiu-jitsu, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, grappling, or submission-grappling competition operated by a legitimate event organizer.

Guardian may deny reimbursement for an event that Guardian reasonably determines is fictitious, manipulated, noncompetitive, created primarily to generate reimbursement eligibility, or insufficiently documented.

Registration Fee Only

The reimbursement covers only the Participant's actual competition registration fee.

It does not cover:

Airfare;
Ground transportation;
Lodging;
Meals;
Membership fees;
Federation fees;
Association memberships;
Coaching fees;
Spectator admission;
Late fees;
Cancellation protection;
Uniforms;
Equipment;
Insurance;
Medical expenses;
Training;
Parking;
Passport or visa expenses; or
Any other expense other than the qualifying registration fee.

Required Proof

Guardian may require documentation showing:

Recipient's full legal name;
Event name;
Event date;
Event location;
Division or registration category when applicable;
Registration fee paid;
Payment date; and
Confirmation that the registration belongs to the person claiming the reward.

Guardian may accept:

Official receipts;
Registration confirmations;
Paid invoices; or
Records issued by the competition organizer or registration provider.

A credit-card or bank statement alone may be insufficient if it does not reasonably identify the event and expense.

Guardian may independently verify registration with the tournament organizer or registration provider.

Guardian may deny altered, incomplete, unverifiable, misleading, duplicate, or fraudulent documentation.

Eligible Registration Period

The registration fee must have been paid:

No more than 60 days before the Participant reached the $500 milestone; or
No later than 12 months after the Participant reached the $500 milestone.

A complete reimbursement request must be submitted within 60 days after payment of the registration fee.

Guardian may deny late or incomplete claims.

Payment Method

Approved reimbursement may be issued:

Through Zelle to an eligible United States account reasonably verified as belonging to the recipient; or
Through an Amazon.com eGift Card delivered to the recipient's verified email address.

The recipient may request a preferred method, but Guardian may select another approved method where reasonably necessary because of security, banking, verification, fraud prevention, technical limitations, or administrative requirements.

Guardian will not send Zelle reimbursement to a teammate, coach, friend, family member, or other third party unless required by law.

No Duplicate Reimbursement

The recipient may not receive Guardian reimbursement for an expense already fully reimbursed by:

Another nonprofit;
A sponsor;
Employer;
Academy;
Tournament organizer;
Insurer;
Business; or
Other third party.

If a recipient later receives a refund, sponsorship payment, reimbursement, charge reversal, credit, or repayment for an amount already reimbursed by Guardian, the recipient must notify Guardian and repay the duplicated amount within 30 days.

Guardian may offset an unpaid duplicate amount against future Program benefits.

22. $750 Individual Milestone — Personalized Thank-You Video

An eligible Participant who raises at least $750 in Qualifying Donations may receive one personalized Guardian thank-you video.

Guardian may select the person appearing in the video, which may include a project leader, representative, athlete, ambassador, staff member, volunteer, or other Guardian-affiliated person.

If an intended speaker becomes unavailable, Guardian may substitute another appropriate person.

Guardian retains editorial and creative control over:

Speaker;
Length;
Content;
Wording;
Recording format;
Location;
Editing;
Delivery method; and
Production quality.

A Participant may suggest reasonable personalization but may not require content Guardian considers:

Political;
Defamatory;
Obscene;
Harassing;
Discriminatory;
Illegal;
Commercially promotional;
Misleading;
Inconsistent with Guardian's mission; or
Likely to create the impression of an unauthorized endorsement.

The reward does not guarantee public posting, professional production, a particular speaker, or commercial-use rights.

It has no cash redemption value.

23. $1,000 Individual Milestone — Guardian Hero Rashguard

An eligible U.S. Resident who raises at least $1,000 in Qualifying Donations may receive one Guardian Hero Rashguard.

The recipient must provide complete sizing and U.S. shipping information.

Sizes, designs, materials, construction, colors, and production specifications may change.

If the advertised item is unavailable, Guardian may substitute a reasonably comparable or greater-value Guardian item.

The reward may not be redeemed for cash or exchanged for another Program reward.

24. $1,500 Individual Milestone — Guardian Hero Gi

An eligible U.S. Resident who raises at least $1,500 in Qualifying Donations may receive one Guardian Hero Gi.

The recipient must provide complete sizing and U.S. shipping information.

Size availability, materials, cut, color, design, production, and specifications may vary.

Guardian may substitute another Guardian gi or item of reasonably comparable or greater retail value if necessary.

The reward may not be redeemed for cash or exchanged for another Program reward.

25. $2,000 Individual Milestone — Guardian Peru Lodging

An eligible Participant who raises at least $2,000 in Qualifying Donations may receive up to five consecutive nights of lodging at Guardian's designated headquarters property in Máncora, Peru.

This reward is not limited to U.S. Residents.

Nature of Lodging

The reward includes accommodation selected by Guardian at Guardian's designated property.

It does not guarantee:

Exclusive use of the property;
Exclusive use of an apartment;
A particular unit;
A particular room;
Ocean view;
Private common areas;
Particular amenities; or
Accommodation beyond the confirmed reservation.

Other Guardian guests, personnel, residents, program participants, or visitors may be present at the property.

Guardian will provide the accommodation identified in the written reservation confirmation.

Guest

The reward is principally for the eligible recipient.

One additional guest may be permitted with Guardian's prior written approval, subject to:

Property capacity;
Age requirements;
Safety rules;
Identification;
Guest documentation; and
Guardian approval.

A donor whose donation contributed to the milestone does not acquire an automatic right to accompany the recipient.

Lodging Only

The reward does not include:

Airfare;
Airport transportation;
Local transportation;
Meals;
Drinks;
Passport expenses;
Visa expenses;
Insurance;
Medical care;
Tours;
Activities;
Excursions;
Tournament fees;
Personal expenses;
Baggage fees;
Governmental fees;
Taxes imposed directly on the traveler;
Cancellation expenses; or
Any other travel-related expense.

Travel Responsibility

The recipient is solely responsible for determining and satisfying applicable:

Passport requirements;
Visa requirements;
Entry and exit rules;
Immigration requirements;
Vaccination requirements;
Health recommendations;
Insurance needs;
Airline requirements; and
Other international-travel obligations.

The recipient should not book airfare or other nonrefundable travel until Guardian has confirmed the reservation in writing.

Reservation

The stay is subject to:

Availability;
Advance reservation;
Blackout dates;
Property capacity;
Guest rules;
Safety policies;
Child-protection policies;
Peruvian law;
Completion of required lodging documents;
Completion of applicable waivers and assumption-of-risk documents; and
Any reasonable property rules then in effect.

Requested dates are not guaranteed.

The stay must ordinarily be completed within 18 months after the recipient reaches the $2,000 milestone unless Guardian approves an extension.

Conduct and Property Damage

Guardian may terminate a stay without providing substitute lodging if the recipient or approved guest engages in:

Violence;
Threatening conduct;
Harassment;
Illegal activity;
Serious intoxication creating safety concerns;
Property damage;
Conduct involving risk to minors;
Material violation of property rules; or
Other serious misconduct.

The recipient and approved guest are responsible for property damage they cause, subject to applicable law.

Cancellation and Force Majeure

Guardian may cancel or reschedule lodging where reasonably necessary because of:

Maintenance;
Property damage;
Safety concerns;
Government action;
Natural disaster;
Public-health conditions;
Civil unrest;
Transportation disruption;
Utility failure;
Unavailability of the property;
Force majeure; or
Circumstances outside Guardian's reasonable control.

If Guardian cancels the lodging for such a reason, Guardian will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative available dates.

Guardian does not reimburse airfare, transportation, cancellation charges, or other consequential travel costs associated with such a change, except where required by law.

The lodging reward has no cash redemption value and may not be sold or resold.

TEAM REWARDS

26. Team Reward Schedule

Unless Guardian expressly states otherwise, Team Campaign rewards are cumulative.

The Team milestones are:

$250 raised: PDF Certificate of Contribution;
$500 raised: Guardian x Fair Fight Foundation academy banner;
$1,000 raised: Solid slate academy recognition plaque;
$2,000 raised: Personalized thank-you video from a project leader;

An approved Team Campaign reaching $250 may receive one digital Certificate of Contribution recognizing the academy.

Guardian determines the certificate's design, wording, format, signatures, dimensions, and delivery method.

The certificate has no cash value.

28. $500 Team Milestone — Guardian x Fair Fight Foundation Banner

An approved Team Campaign reaching $500 may receive one Guardian x Fair Fight Foundation academy banner.

Because this is a shipped physical reward, the academy's authorized recipient must provide an eligible United States shipping address.

Design, dimensions, printing, materials, graphics, and production specifications may vary.

Guardian may substitute a reasonably comparable or greater-quality recognition item if the advertised banner becomes unavailable.

The reward has no cash redemption value.

29. $1,000 Team Milestone — Solid Slate Recognition Plaque

An approved Team Campaign reaching $1,000 may receive one solid slate academy recognition plaque.

Because this is a shipped physical reward, an eligible United States shipping address is required.

Guardian may determine:

Dimensions;
Engraving;
Typography;
Academy-name treatment;
Hardware;
Layout;
Materials; and
Production details.

Guardian may substitute a recognition item of reasonably comparable or greater quality or retail value if necessary.

30. $2,000 Team Milestone — Project Leader Video

An approved Team Campaign reaching $2,000 may receive one personalized thank-you video recognizing the academy.

Guardian will make reasonable efforts to have the video recorded by a project leader connected to a Guardian program the Campaign helped support.

If the intended project leader is unavailable, unwilling, no longer affiliated with the project, unable to participate, or otherwise unsuitable, Guardian may substitute another appropriate project leader or representative.

Guardian retains complete editorial control over the video.

The academy may not require political, defamatory, obscene, commercial, unlawful, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate content.

The video does not create commercial endorsement rights and does not guarantee public posting.

31. $5,000 Team Milestone — Premium Recognition Plaque

An approved Team Campaign reaching $5,000 may receive one premium Guardian academy recognition plaque.

Because this is a physical shipped reward, a valid United States shipping address is required.

Guardian determines the materials, customization, dimensions, design, finish, engraving, packaging, and production specifications.

Guardian may substitute another premium academy recognition item of reasonably comparable or greater quality or retail value.

32. $10,000 Team Milestone — CJI Academy Recognition

An approved Team Campaign reaching $10,000 may receive academy-name recognition displayed in connection with the next eligible Craig Jones Invitational (“CJI”) for which Guardian can reasonably complete the recognition.

Guardian has authorization to provide this recognition subject to event, production, safety, venue, and scheduling requirements.

Academy Name

The recognition will include the qualifying academy's name.

Guardian does not guarantee display of the academy's logo unless expressly agreed.

The academy representative must provide requested name information before Guardian's production deadline.

The representative represents and warrants that:

The academy has the right to use the submitted name;
The submitted material does not infringe another party's trademark, copyright, publicity, or other rights; and
Guardian and its authorized event partners may display the submitted academy name for purposes of fulfilling the reward.

Guardian may reject or request modification of a submitted name, logo, slogan, or material that Guardian reasonably determines is:

Infringing;
Unlawful;
Misleading;
Obscene;
Defamatory;
Political;
Hateful;
Harassing;
Commercially inappropriate; or
Inconsistent with Guardian's mission or event requirements.

Form of Recognition

Guardian will arrange for the academy name to be reasonably displayed in connection with the applicable CJI.

The exact:

Placement;
Screen;
Location;
Duration;
Size;
Graphic treatment;
Production method;
Frequency;
Venue location; and
Presentation format

may be determined by Guardian, Fair Fight Foundation, CJI organizers, production partners, venue operators, broadcasters, or other authorized event parties.

The reward does not guarantee:

Television appearance;
Livestream visibility;
Camera coverage;
A specific screen;
A specific duration;
A specific location in the venue;
On-stage presentation;
Public announcement;
Use of a logo; or
Endorsement by any athlete or CJI participant.

Production Deadline

If the milestone is reached or verified too late to reasonably include the academy in the next CJI production cycle, recognition may occur at the next CJI for which inclusion can reasonably be arranged.

No Tickets or Travel

The recognition reward does not include:

CJI admission;
Tickets;
VIP access;
Credentials;
Backstage access;
On-stage participation;
Airfare;
Hotel;
Transportation;
Meals; or
Other event expenses.

Attendance is not required for the academy to receive the recognition.

CJI Contingency

If the applicable CJI is:

Canceled;
Indefinitely postponed;
Materially restructured;
Discontinued;
Subject to production or venue restrictions;
No longer available for the activation;
Affected by governmental or safety restrictions; or
Otherwise unable to provide the intended display for circumstances outside Guardian's reasonable control,

Guardian will make reasonable efforts to provide one of the following:

Academy-name recognition at a subsequent CJI;
Comparable recognition at another Guardian or Fair Fight Foundation event; or
Comparable official Guardian/Fair Fight Foundation recognition through another appropriate channel.

This contingency does not create a right to a $10,000 payment, refund, cash alternative, travel reimbursement, or event tickets.

33. Reward Claims

Reaching a displayed fundraising milestone does not automatically complete fulfillment.

Guardian may require the recipient to:

Submit a reward claim;
Verify identity;
Verify age or residency;
Verify Campaign ownership;
Verify academy authority;
Provide tax documentation;
Provide shipping information;
Provide sizing;
Submit tournament documentation;
Complete travel or lodging documentation;
Provide customization information; and
Respond to other reasonable verification requests.

Except where a different deadline applies to a particular reward, the recipient must begin the claim process within 90 days after Guardian sends its first eligibility notice.

Guardian may consider a reward forfeited if the recipient fails to respond to reasonable requests or fails to complete the required claim process by the applicable deadline.

Forfeiture of a reward does not change the charitable ownership or use of donations already made.

34. Guardian Administrative Determinations

Guardian may make reasonable good-faith determinations regarding:

Campaign eligibility;
Donation attribution;
Verified totals;
Fraud;
Duplicate campaigns;
Related-party transactions;
Reward eligibility;
Academy identity;
Participant identity;
Documentation sufficiency;
Reward substitutions;
Production deadlines;
Property availability; and
Compliance with these Official Terms.

Guardian may correct clerical, platform, computational, technical, or administrative errors.

Guardian's good-faith Program determinations are final for internal Program administration, subject to rights that cannot legally be waived.

35. Reward Availability and Substitution

Guardian will make reasonable efforts to fulfill published rewards.

Inventory, materials, vendors, production schedules, sizes, designs, payment services, speakers, shipping providers, property availability, and event arrangements may change.

Where an advertised physical reward becomes unavailable, Guardian may provide a reasonably comparable or greater-quality or retail-value substitute.

Guardian may not substitute the competition reimbursement with an amount exceeding the lesser of:

The recipient's verified eligible expense; or
$200.

Non-U.S. participants are not entitled to cash compensation because they are ineligible for a U.S.-only physical or tournament reimbursement reward.

36. No Transfer, Sale, or Cash Redemption

Except where Guardian expressly permits otherwise in writing, the right to claim a Program reward:

Is personal to the eligible recipient or qualifying academy;
May not be sold;
May not be auctioned;
May not be assigned;
May not be traded;
May not be exchanged for another Program reward; and
May not be redeemed for cash.

Guardian may cancel a reward Guardian reasonably determines was sold, transferred, or commercially exploited contrary to these Official Terms.

37. Taxes

Program rewards may have federal, state, local, foreign, or other tax consequences.

Each recipient is responsible for determining and satisfying their own tax obligations.

Guardian does not guarantee that merchandise, reimbursements, gift cards, lodging, recognition, or other benefits are tax-free.

Guardian may require:

Form W-9;
An appropriate Form W-8;
Taxpayer identification;
Certification of tax status;
Proof of residency;
Proof of identity; or
Other information reasonably required for tax compliance.

Guardian may report reward amounts or fair market values when Guardian determines reporting is legally required.

Guardian may apply legally required withholding.

Guardian does not provide individual tax advice.

38. Donor Tax Treatment

Donations are made for Guardian's charitable purposes.

Program milestone rewards are provided to fundraiser organizers or participating academies rather than individual donors in exchange for making donations.

Participants may not tell donors that:

Every donation is necessarily deductible;
A particular amount is deductible;
A particular donor will receive a specific tax benefit;
Guardian guarantees tax treatment; or
A donor receives Program goods or services merely because of the donation.

Each donor is responsible for obtaining tax advice regarding their own circumstances.

Guardian retains responsibility for providing any donor acknowledgment or disclosure required of Guardian by applicable law.

39. Campaign Communications

Participants must describe Guardian, the Program, use of donations, and rewards accurately.

Participants may not:

Make false claims;
Make misleading claims;
Guarantee charitable outcomes;
Claim donations are paid personally to the fundraiser;
Claim the fundraiser may withdraw donations;
Describe the tournament reimbursement as guaranteed $200 cash;
Describe the tournament reward as covering travel or other non-registration costs;
Describe Peru lodging as an all-expenses-paid trip;
Describe CJI recognition as including admission or travel;
Promise Guardian sponsorships;
Contact Guardian partners as Guardian representatives without authorization;
Make political statements on Guardian's behalf;
Create unauthorized merchandise; or
Use Guardian's identity for unlawful purposes.

Guardian may require correction or removal of Campaign content Guardian reasonably determines is inaccurate, misleading, unsafe, unauthorized, unlawful, or materially inconsistent with Guardian's mission.

40. Intellectual Property

Guardian's names, logos, trademarks, graphics, campaign assets, and other intellectual property remain owned by Guardian or their applicable owners.

Participation does not transfer ownership of Guardian intellectual property.

Participants receive only a limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to use campaign assets Guardian specifically makes available for promotion of an approved Campaign.

Participants may not:

Create merchandise using Guardian branding;
Register domain names containing Guardian marks;
Register social-media accounts impersonating Guardian;
Alter Guardian branding in a misleading manner;
License Guardian branding to another party; or
Suggest commercial sponsorship or endorsement that Guardian has not approved.

Guardian may revoke permission to use Campaign assets following termination or disqualification.

41. Participant Responsibility and Indemnification

Each Participant is responsible for their own statements, conduct, Campaign promotion, legal compliance, and unauthorized promises.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, a Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Guardian and its directors, officers, employees, authorized volunteers, and agents from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, or reasonable expenses arising directly from:

The Participant's fraud;
Material breach of these Official Terms;
Unauthorized representations made on Guardian's behalf;
Unlawful fundraising conduct;
Participant-provided donor incentives;
Intellectual-property infringement caused by materials submitted by the Participant;
Deliberate misrepresentation;
Property damage caused by the Participant or their approved guest; or
Other unlawful conduct by the Participant.

This provision does not require a Participant to indemnify Guardian for liability that applicable law prohibits Guardian from transferring or limiting.

42. Third-Party Services

GoFundMe and other fundraising platforms, Amazon, Zelle, tournament organizers, registration providers, Fair Fight Foundation, CJI organizers, airlines, hotels, transportation companies, insurers, venues, broadcasters, payment processors, and other third parties are separate entities.

Guardian does not control their independent:

Policies;
Terms;
Technical systems;
Cancellations;
Fees;
Eligibility rules;
Account decisions;
Scheduling;
Service failures;
Transportation;
Tournament rules; or
Other operations.

Guardian is not responsible for losses caused exclusively by the acts, omissions, failures, cancellations, account restrictions, insolvency, or service interruptions of independent third parties outside Guardian's reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

43. Competition and Travel Risk

Jiu-jitsu competition and international travel involve inherent risks, including potential bodily injury.

Participation in a competition is voluntary.

Guardian's reimbursement of an entry fee does not mean Guardian:

Organizes the competition;
Controls the competition;
Supervises the competition;
Provides coaching;
Provides medical clearance;
Determines the Participant's fitness;
Sanctions the event; or
Guarantees safety.

Participants are responsible for determining whether they are physically and medically able to participate and for obtaining appropriate professional medical advice when necessary.

Similarly, Guardian's provision of lodging does not make Guardian an airline, travel agency, tour operator, insurer, healthcare provider, or guarantor of independent travel services.

Any separate competition, lodging, guest, safety, property, or assumption-of-risk agreement Guardian requires remains in addition to these Official Terms.

44. Limitation of Responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Guardian is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising solely from:

Missed travel arrangements;
Airline cancellations;
Tournament cancellations;
Lost reservations;
Third-party service failures;
Participant scheduling decisions;
Lost profits;
Business interruption;
Lost promotional opportunities; or
Similar consequential circumstances associated with a Program reward.

Nothing in these Official Terms excludes, waives, or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, waived, or limited.

45. Disqualification and Recovery of Rewards

Guardian may deny, suspend, revoke, or recover a reward if Guardian reasonably determines that a Participant:

Committed fraud;
Manipulated donations;
Falsified documentation;
Misrepresented identity;
Misrepresented age or residency;
Misrepresented academy ownership;
Created duplicate Campaigns to obtain duplicate rewards;
Arranged sham donations;
Received prohibited duplicate reimbursement;
Made unauthorized promises to donors;
Materially violated Guardian safety or child-protection policies;
Engaged in unlawful fundraising conduct;
Materially violated platform rules;
Made unauthorized representations on Guardian's behalf; or
Materially violated these Official Terms.

Where a reward was obtained through fraud, intentional manipulation, or material misrepresentation, Guardian may seek reasonable recovery of the reward or its value and may disqualify the Participant from future Guardian reward programs.

46. Suspension for Safety or Legal Concerns

Guardian may immediately suspend a Campaign or reward fulfillment while Guardian reasonably investigates:

Fraud;
Misconduct;
Threats;
Harassment;
Child-safety concerns;
Financial irregularities;
Legal requirements;
Platform restrictions;
Identity disputes;
Academy ownership disputes; or
Other serious Program-integrity concerns.

Suspension during a reasonable investigation does not itself constitute permanent disqualification.

47. Program Modification or Termination

Guardian may prospectively modify, suspend, replace, or terminate the Program by publishing reasonable notice.

Guardian will not ordinarily use a prospective modification to eliminate a reward properly earned before the modification became effective.

However, Guardian may decline or modify fulfillment where providing the original reward becomes:

Illegal;
Impossible;
Unsafe;
Fraudulent;
Prohibited by a third-party platform;
Prohibited by governmental action; or
Prevented by circumstances outside Guardian's reasonable control.

Where appropriate, Guardian may offer a reasonable substitute consistent with these Official Terms.

48. Transition From Prior Terms

These Official Terms are effective August 18, 2026.

Milestones reached on or after the Effective Date are governed by these Official Terms unless Guardian expressly provides otherwise.

A reward properly earned before August 18, 2026 remains governed by the Program terms applicable when the milestone was reached.

Guardian intends to honor properly earned rewards under prior Program terms.

Guardian may also voluntarily apply a provision of the updated Program to a prior Participant when doing so benefits the Participant or resolves a transition issue.

Doing so in one instance does not require Guardian to apply every new term retroactively to every prior Campaign.

Guardian will not use these updated Official Terms to retroactively eliminate a material reward that was properly earned under prior published terms.

49. Promotional Summaries and Errors

Guardian may advertise Program rewards through graphics, social-media posts, email, Campaign summaries, or other abbreviated promotional materials.

Those materials may summarize these Official Terms.

Participants should review the full Official Terms before participating.

If abbreviated promotional language is ambiguous, these Official Terms provide the detailed rules governing fulfillment.

Guardian may correct obvious typographical, mathematical, graphical, or administrative mistakes.

Guardian will not use this provision to withdraw a material reward that was clearly and unambiguously advertised and properly earned merely because Guardian later regrets the offer.

Where a genuine material discrepancy exists, Guardian will make a reasonable good-faith determination consistent with the advertised Program, these Official Terms, applicable law, and reasonable participant expectations.

50. Privacy

Guardian may collect information reasonably necessary to operate the Program, including:

Name;
Address;
Email;
Telephone number;
Age verification;
Residency information;
Identification;
Tax information;
Academy ownership information;
Tournament registration information;
Payment information;
Shipping information;
Travel information;
Guest information; and
Reward claim documentation.

Guardian may use or disclose such information as reasonably necessary to:

Verify eligibility;
Prevent fraud;
Fulfill rewards;
Complete payments;
Ship merchandise;
Arrange lodging;
Arrange event recognition;
Satisfy legal or tax obligations; or
Protect Guardian, Participants, beneficiaries, donors, and the public.

Guardian will handle personal information in accordance with applicable law and Guardian's applicable privacy practices.

51. Electronic Acceptance

Guardian may require Participants to affirmatively accept these Official Terms electronically.

Electronic acceptance may include checking a box stating substantially:

“I have read and agree to the Guardian Fundraising Rewards Program Official Terms.”

Guardian may maintain records showing:

The Participant;
Date and time of acceptance;
Applicable version of the Official Terms; and
Campaign associated with the acceptance.

Guardian may require renewed acceptance if the Participant begins a new Program Period or if a material prospective change requires additional consent.

A Participant who does not accept required Program terms may continue supporting Guardian where otherwise permitted but is not entitled to participate in the associated rewards program.

52. Notices

Guardian may provide Program notices through:

The fundraising platform;
Email;
Guardian's website;
A reward-claim portal; or
Other reasonable electronic communication.

Participants are responsible for maintaining current contact information and reviewing communications related to their reward claims.

53. No Third-Party Beneficiaries

Except where applicable law expressly provides otherwise, these Official Terms govern the relationship between Guardian and the applicable Program Participant.

A donor, teammate, coach, guest, academy member, or other third party does not obtain a personal right to claim a Program reward solely because that person contributed to, promoted, or participated in a Campaign.

54. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal proceeding concerning a Program reward, the Participant and Guardian agree to make reasonable good-faith efforts to resolve the dispute informally.

A Participant should send a written description of the dispute and requested resolution to Guardian at the contact information below.

Guardian will make reasonable efforts to review and respond.

This provision does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief, complying with a legal filing deadline, reporting conduct to a governmental authority, or exercising rights that cannot legally be restricted.

55. Governing Law and Venue

These Official Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another jurisdiction's nonwaivable law applies.

Subject to applicable law, any judicial proceeding arising directly from the Program shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in San Mateo County, California, unless applicable law requires another venue.

56. Severability

If any provision of these Official Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or enforced to the maximum extent legally permitted.

The remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent legally permissible.

57. No Waiver

Guardian's decision not to enforce a provision in one circumstance does not waive Guardian's right to enforce that provision in another circumstance.

Providing an exception, extension, substitution, courtesy, or accommodation to one Participant does not require Guardian to provide the same exception to another Participant.

58. Entire Program Terms

These Official Terms, together with:

The applicable Campaign page;
Guardian's privacy notice;
Applicable reward-claim forms;
Any Campaign-specific published requirements; and
Any separate lodging, guest, property, safety, event, competition, or assumption-of-risk agreement

constitute the terms governing the Program.

No Participant may modify these Official Terms through a social-media post, email, verbal statement, donor promise, Campaign description, or other unilateral communication.

A modification binding on Guardian must be authorized by Guardian in writing.
