At Guardian we're proud to have the leading Oakland youth and kids program for Brazilian jiu jitsu and boxing. We provide training in both martial arts to youth students 18 & under. Our youth program and classes promote self-defense, discipline, confidence and most important safety and fun. We currently have over 200 kids, teens, and youth training at Guardian, from students in the Oakland unified school district to ones that come from all across the San Franscisco Bay Area.

Our instructors place special emphasis on technique and safety in the classes, to ensure we have the most best environment for our students to learn the fundamentals of the martial arts and stay safe while enjoying themselves. In addition, we provide many students with mentorship from some of the leading and most exemplerary members of the Oakland community, in addition to providing many of them who are in need with martial arts clothing and supplies in addition to food and meals.

We never ask our youth students for membership dues, though families that can afford to donate $5, $25, $50, or $100 a month are encouraged to do so.  Students that cannot afford to pay anything are allowed to train at no cost. Our programming is made possible by paid adult memberships and donations.

To sign-up yourself of your child/dependent for the program, visit our Youth Program Sign-up page.

A very special thanks to our adult gold and silver members and donors as well as E Nois Clothing, Burma Bear, Gastro Pig, Moljacete and the multiple other organizations and local businesses supporting our youth students.
