Apply for a Guardian Scholarship or a Jiu Jitsu Gi

The Guardian Scholarship is available for youth between the ages of 9-18 that want to train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, boxing or kickboxing. It is designed specifically for youth students that are committed to training, but don't have the financial means to pay for it. Our scholarship program seeks to match kids with gyms in their local communities so that they can begin training at no cost.  In order to be considered for this program, a student or parent/guardian needs to fill out an application. Our extensive network of Guardian ambassadors stands ready and willing to help passionate and eager kids connect with gyms in their local community.  If you would like to be considered for a Guardian scholarship, please click on the image below and fill out the application to completion.

If you are already enrolled at a jiu jitsu school, but cannot afford to purchase your own gi, we'd like to help you out.   Please click on the image below and fill out the form.  Our gi gifting program is for both kids & adults of all ages.  Everyone should have the opportunity to train in a gi that fits right and can be proud to wear at their academy or in competition.

If you have a good quality, clean gi that you would like to donate to another student, please send it to us here:   Guardian Gym -1922 Webster St. Unit C. -Oakland, CA 94612.  Since Guardian is a 501c3 non-profit charity, donated Gis are elgiable for a tax write-off commensurate with the value of the donated Gi.
